Support services provided by these centres and organisations address issues arising from divorce and focus on the welfare of the children.
Family Service Centres (FSCs)
FSCs are located within the community and serve the low-income and vulnerable individuals and families. FSCs are staffed by social work practitioners providing an integrated practice of casework, group work and community work to meet the diverse and complex needs of clients. This could include support for those with marital, parenting, employment and financial needs. Couples with marital issues, or who are contemplating divorce, may wish to visit their nearest FSC for help. There are currently 44 FSCs situated island-wide.
To locate the FSC closest to you, please see FSC Locations.
Social Service Offices (SSOs)
Social Service Offices (SSOs) bring social assistance closer to residents in need. They make ComCare assistance and other forms of assistance such as job matching and family services more accessible to those who need it.
You may locate your nearest SSO using the SSO Locator or call their hotline at 1800-222-0000.
