The Fostering Service uses print, broadcast and social media to raise awareness about fostering and the need for more foster carers. It has generated substantial media coverage in the past few years. Find out more about our stories in the media and become part of building a more effective fostering system to serve our children in need.

Room at the Table


Room at the Table” is a commemorative book published in 2016 to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Fostering Scheme. The book features stories and recipes of foster families as well as interviews with various professionals involved in foster care. In short, good foster care is a team effort.

Parenting Made Easy
