Adult Protective Service volunteers safeguard the safety and well-being of individuals and families who may be experiencing violence, abuse or neglect. They befriend people at-risk of/who are facing abuse and check-in on their progress and well-being.

Child Protective Service volunteers walk alongside MSF’s Child Protection Officers to ensure the safety and well-being of young persons who have been victims of abuse or neglect (e.g. suffered sexual abuse, severe neglect or serious injuries inflicted by parent(s) or caregiver).

ComLink (Community Link) volunteers join hands with MSF and our partners to support families with children living in rental housing to help them achieve stability, self-reliance, and social mobility.

Enable-A-Family (EAF) volunteers support foster families and serve as befrienders and mentors to children and youths from families which might be experiencing child abuse, neglect, or family violence.

Families for Life (FFL) volunteers help to promote and build strong and resilient families in the community.

Fostering Scheme volunteers help to provide alternative care arrangements for children and youths who may have been abused, neglected or abandoned. Foster parents help to provide temporary care for children and youths who need a safe, stable and nurturing home.

Volunteers journey with KidSTART families to help provide upstream support for children aged 0 to 6 years old.

Volunteers of the Partners Engaging and Empowering Rough Sleepers (PEERS) Network join hands with community groups, social service, and government agencies to engage and support rough sleepers and homeless persons.

Volunteer Probation Officers work alongside MSF Probation Officers to guide probationers to make amends for the harm caused to others and choose pathways that support their leading a resilient and fulfilling life.

SG Enable’s (SGE) Enabling Volunteers and MSF Family Volunteers help to build a caring and inclusive Singapore, where persons with disabilities are enabled as integral and contributing members of society.

Social Services Office (SSO) volunteers provide assistance to residents who need help at MSF’s 24 SSOs.

UPLIFT Family Befrienders engage parent(s) of students from lower-income backgrounds. Through family befriending, we aim to help families build more stable and conducive home environments for their children, so that they are more motivated and engaged in school.

The Vulnerable-in-the-Community (VIC) Network volunteers help to reach out to and befriend vulnerable individuals (e.g. cardboard collectors, tissue sellers). This is done through regular walks around the community to identify these individuals who may need help, to better understand their needs and connect them to help where needed.

Youth Residential Service volunteers befriend youths residing in Singapore Boys’ and Girls’ Homes.
