What We Do
The Social Policy and Services Group (SPSG) oversees all policy, planning and delivery of social services for low-income and vulnerable families, including persons with disabilities.
There are five divisions in SPSG:
1. ComCare and Social Support Division (CSSD)
Oversees policy development, service development and operations policy for low-income and vulnerable groups.
2. Disability Office (DO)
Oversees policy development, service development and operations policy for disability programmes and initiatives.
3. Service Delivery and Coordination Division (SDCD)
Oversees oversee all direct operations, including Social Service Offices, centralised schemes, Destitute and Shelter Support, and Student Care operations.
4. Service Management and Resource Division (SMRD)
Oversees management of disability and residential services and resourcing of the SPSG's directly delivered and MSF-funded services.
5. Planning Division (PD)
Oversees SPSG's manpower and capability development, systems and data issues, planning and strategy development, and the Social Service Delivery Project Office.
