The National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) has conducted the third survey on participation in gambling activities among Singapore Residents, following similar studies conducted in 2005 and 2008. The 2011 NCPG survey indicates that probable pathological and problem gambling rates among Singapore Residents remained largely unchanged. However, there are emerging concerns including heavier gambling among a small group of low-income gamblers, frequent gamblers, and poorer self-control in gambling among online, horse racing and casino gamblers.
