Eligible families will receive the Large Family LifeSG Credits (LFLC) this April. This is part of the Government’s effort to provide greater support for larger families, to help with daily household expenses such as groceries, transport and utilities.
The credits will be automatically credited through the LifeSG application. No application is required.
Under the Large Families Scheme, eligible families with three or more children will receive LFLC for each eligible third and subsequent Singapore Citizen child.
The LFLC provides $1,000 annually from the year the child turns one to the year the child turns six.
Families with eligible children born between 2020 and 2025 will receive their LFLC on 28 April 2026.
Disbursement, Usage and Notifications
The LFLC will be credited to LifeSG digital wallet of the Child Development Account (CDA) trustee1 of each eligible child.
The credits can be used at merchants that accept PayNow UEN QR or NETS QR, including supermarkets, pharmacies, utility providers and transport services such as taxis and private-hire rides.
The credits will remain valid for one year from the date it is credited. Any unused credits will automatically expire after one year.
CDA trustees will receive an SMS from “gov.sg” when the credits are disbursed. To safeguard against scams, SMS notifications will only inform recipients of the disbursement status and related terms and conditions. Recipients will not be asked to reply to SMS messages or provide personal information. CDA trustees should ensure that the mobile number in their Singpass profile is up to date to receive these notifications. More information is available at:
