#70Storiesfor70Years

For 70 years, fostering has provided children and youths in need with a safe and nurturing home. As we mark this milestone, we celebrate the foster parents who opened their hearts and homes, the children and youths whose lives have been touched by fostering, the foster care workers who have walked alongside families, and the wider community that has supported fostering along the way.

To honour this milestone, we are collecting 70 stories that reflect the many faces of fostering today — stories of compassion, resilience, belonging, and hope. Together, they offer a glimpse into the lives touched by fostering and celebrate the people who continue to make a difference for children and youths in need of care and protection.

As you read these stories, we hope they inspire you to consider how you can play a part in supporting children and youths in need of care and protection.
