Year of Celebrating Social Service Professionals 

The Ministry of Social and Family Development has designated 2025 as the Year of Celebrating Social Service Professionals (YCProfessionals) to recognise and celebrate the contributions of professionals in the social service sector. Over the years, Social Service Professionals have tirelessly contributed to uplifting those in need and ensuring no one is left behind.

 

 

YCProfessionals will build on the strong foundation from MSF’s Year of Celebrating Social Service Partners and Year of Celebrating Volunteers in 2023 and 2024 respectively.

 

 

This year, we spotlight and celebrate our Social Service Professionals who are the heart of the social service sector. The work they do to uplift society and strengthen our social compact is invaluable and vital. Many of them serve with passion, and dedicate their lives to helping others. As professionals, they also seek to continuously deepen their competencies to ensure that they are able to effectively serve Singaporeans in need.

Held at Our Tampines Hub's Festive Walk on 31 January and 1 February 2026, the A Beacon of Hope Exhibition celebrated the contributions of Social Service Professionals, Volunteers, and Partners. Through immersive light installations and interactive storytelling panels, visitors learned about their impact on the community and shared messages of encouragement in appreciation of their dedication and service.

As part of the YCProfessionals campaign, we are proud to unveil our key visuals, featuring the diverse roles of dedicated professionals in the social service sector — from Counsellors, Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist, HR Manager, and Social Worker.
