Minister of State, Mr Goh Pei Ming

Mr Goh Pei Ming was appointed Minister of State in May 2025, and has served as Member of Parliament for Marine Parade-Braddell Heights GRC since Apr 2025. Prior to his appointment, Mr Goh served in the Singapore Armed Forces for 24 years, including in the roles of SAF Chief of Staff-Joint Staff, SAF Inspector-General, and MINDEF Chief Sustainability Officer. He was deployed overseas in Afghanistan and Indonesia, and had helmed national events such as National Day Parade 2022.
Mr Goh was a member of the REACH Advisory Panel from 2022 to 2024, and served on the Board of Directors for the Defence Science and Technology Agency, DSO National Laboratories, Defence Collective Singapore and Temasek Polytechnic.
As a longtime grassroots volunteer, Mr Goh began his community work in Kampong Chai Chee, East Coast in 2007, before taking on leadership roles as Chairman of the Kampong Chai Chee Community Club Management Committee, and Vice-Chairman of the Kampong Chai Chee Citizens’ Consultative Committee.
Mr Goh graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor’s degree (summa cum laude) in Civil Engineering under the Singapore Armed Forces Overseas Scholarship, and went on to pursue a Master’s degree in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University, and a Master’s degree in Defence Studies from King’s College London.
He is married with three children, and enjoys spending quality time with his family. He loves the outdoors, hawker food, as well as jogs around the Marine Parade estate.
