Adult Protective Service

Adult Protective Service volunteers safeguard the safety and well-being of individuals and families who may be experiencing violence, abuse or neglect. They befriend those at risk of/who are facing abuse, and check in on their progress and well-being.

If your heart beats to help individuals and families who are at risk of, or who have been exposed to abuse and neglect, come volunteer with us!

Volunteers help to:

  • Befriend individuals and their family members
  • Provide safety checks to ensure their safety
  • Accompany the individual and/or family members for their appointments (e.g. medical checks etc.)
  • Provide translation during interviews with the individual and/or family members
