MSF revokes status of Approved Persons for Sweetlands Childcare Centres

The Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) has served notice to revoke the status of Approved Person (AP) of all the 11 Sweetlands Childcare centres yesterday. We will revoke the AP status of Mdm Chan Chew Shia and Mr Ho Boon Hong on 21 October 2015.

More Banking Choices and Greater Convenience for Parents Under Changes to Baby Bonus Scheme

Parents will soon have more banking choices for their young children’s Baby Bonus Child Development Accounts (CDA). The Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) has appointed DBS Bank (DBS) and United Overseas Bank (UOB) as new Managing Agents for CDAs. These banks will join existing CDA bank Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited (OCBC) to provide CDA services from 13 July 2015.

More banking choices, greater convenience

The Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) has appointed three banks as managing agents (MAs) for Child Development Accounts (CDAs) under the Baby Bonus Scheme. They are DBS Bank Limited (DBS), United Overseas Bank (UOB) and Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited (OCBC). OCBC is an existing MA, while DBS and UOB are newly appointed MAs which will start providing CDA services from the second quarter of 2015.

Resource Kit on Developmental Needs for Parents

The Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) has developed a resource kit for parents whose children in mainstream pre-schools have been diagnosed with developmental needs. The resource was developed in collaboration with the National Council of Social Services (NCSS), Health Promotion Board (HPB) and KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH).
