To better support low-income and vulnerable families, the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) will increase the assistance provided by ComCare schemes. MSF will also strengthen social service delivery in partnership with government agencies and community organisations, so as to provide more Comprehensive, Convenient and Coordinated support for these families.

​The Ministry of Social and Family Development has worked with the Ministry of Health to include MSF's Client Assessment Form (CAF) as an alternative assessment tool for those with cognitive impairments such as Intellectual Disability (ID) or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to be assessed on the level of support required for ADLs.

​From 1 April 2018, the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) will enhance salary norms for MSF-funded programmes by up to 12 per cent across all professions and job levels. 

​SG Enable will set up a Caregivers' Space at the Enabling Village by the end of 2018, to serve as a meeting place for peer support groups, training of caregivers of persons with disabilities, and engagement sessions by Voluntary Welfare Organisations as well as community partners for caregivers.
