  • Obligations under the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child

    ​The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) is a treaty which comprehensively provides for the rights of children. It sets out the standards on the provisions of healthcare, education, legal and social services for children. Singapore acceded to UNCRC in October 1995.
  • Family Guidance Order

    A Family Guidance Order is issued to children or young persons who are below 16 years of age and below 16 years of age and display serious behavioural challenges. They are not offenders, but their behaviour may be serious enough that parents might apply for the Youth Court's assistance.
