Family Matters – Report of the Public Education Committee on Family

This report seeks to map out a set of public education strategies and initiatives aimed at promoting positive attitudes among Singaporeans towards the family.

Conceptualised as a People Movement, the Public Education Committee (PEC) held extensive public consultations. As part of this process, 5 Work Groups were formed to focus on issues in which public education would be useful.

The report of the Public Education Committee on Family is a comprehensive public education framework to complement the government’s policy initiatives.

MCYS studies recommendations in the report in consultation with the relevant key implementation agencies with a view to implementation.
