I am pleased to join all of you today at the International Women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) & Medicine Symposium to celebrate International Women’s Day (IWD). In line with IWD’s ethos, we welcome the efforts of institutions and organisations in inspiring more women to continue and excel in their careers, particularly in fields such as STEM and medicine. 

​At the annual Volunteer and Partner Awards ceremony (MVPA) today, Minister for Social and Family Development Masagos Zulkifli announced 2023 as the Year of Celebrating Social Service Partners. The Year of Celebrating Social Service Partners will recognise the integral contributions of partners from within and beyond the social service sector who work with us and with each other to build strong families and a caring society. 

​Families and couples can now look forward to another space in Singapore to celebrate family milestones and enjoy quality bonding time. 

A good morning to all, on this joyous occasion. I’m very glad to have this in-person session as we celebrate the second edition of Youth Work Day. First of all, a big thank you to Youth Work Association, Singapore (YWAS) and Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP) for making this event possible. ​
