The ASCC Council  is one of three ASEAN Community Councils – the other two being the ASEAN Political-Security Community Council and ASEAN Economic Community Council.    The scope of ASCC Council’s work includes the environment, disaster management, education, information, culture, health, sports, youth, women, children, manpower, rural development, poverty eradication, social welfare and civil service training matters.
