Timelines for Licensing Matters

Please refer to the stipulated timelines for licensing matters under the SRHA in Table 1.

Renewal of licenceAn application to renew a licence must be made at least 6 months before the SRH licence expiry date. Payment for the licence renewal fee (non-refundable) must be made.
Transfer of licenceAn application to transfer the licence must be made at least 3 months before the intended date of transfer. The change will take effect upon MSF's approval.

Change of:

  • Capacity of the SRH, or
  • Address, including the addition or removal of premises tagged to a licence
An application to change the capacity of the SRH or address must be made at least 3 months before the intended date of change. The change will take effect upon MSF's approval.
Any other amendments to licenceAn application to amend other details in the licence must be made prior to the change as soon as practicable. The change will take effect upon MSF's approval.
Suitability assessment and application for approval of Licensee (where applicable), Key Appointment Holder, Person-in-Charge (and alternate Person-in-Charge), and individuals deployed to carry out prescribed duties or classes of dutiesA request for suitability assessment must be made for each individual to be deployed. MSF's approval must be granted prior to deployment. The processing time is typically 2 weeks.
Notification of voluntary cessation or surrender of licenceA written notice must be submitted to MSF at least 6 months before the intended date of voluntary cessation or surrender of licence.
