Probation: Other Courts Referrals

Probation: Other Courts Referrals

MSF's Probation and Community Rehabilitation Service (PCRS) assists the Courts by preparing a Pre-Sentence Report (PSR) which assesses an offender's suitability to undergo and benefit from its probation regime. The PSR is prepared by a Probation Officer who assesses the offender's risk/needs, strengths, motivation to change and ability to commit to a rehabilitation plan and conditions. The Probation Officer will also assess the family's ability to support the changes. Where relevant, psychiatric or psychological assessments may be included.
