​Singapore's out-of-home care sector provides care for vulnerable children and young persons who have been abandoned, neglected, ill-treated by their parents or guardians. These children and young persons would then be placed in foster care or residential care. 

​Volunteers with the Rehabilitation and Protection Group (RPG) of MSF work closely with youth offenders and young children who have been abused and neglected by their families. They act as befrienders and mentors, giving guidance and support to their charges.

​MSF's Child Protective Service (CPS) provides statutory intervention and supportive services to address the needs of children and young persons who have been seriously harmed or are at high risk of serious harm.
