  • MSF’s Outreach and Support Programmes for Youth
  • National Council of Social Service’s Support for Children and Youth
    Programmes and activities to develop personal and social skills, decision-making capabilities, motivational and life skills to build self-confidence and develop positive relationships and behaviours.

       
  • Whole-of-Government Support Schemes and Services for Children and Youth  
    Schemes are typically monetary assistance (e.g. subsidies and vouchers) and services are assistance provided by social service agencies (e.g. counselling, shelters, day centres).

       
  • Student Care Centres (SCCs)  
    Provide care and supervision to school-going children aged 7 years (Primary 1) to 14 years (Secondary 2). SCCs provide a conducive environment for children’s holistic development in various dimensions – physical, intellectual, emotional, social and moral – as well as a place to rest after school hours.

       
  • Parenting Support Providers (PSPs)
    PSPs work closely with schools and community partners in their allocated regions to support parents through evidence-based parenting programmes and referrals to services. The PSPs offer two evidence-based programmes – Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) and Signposts.  

       
  • Family Service Centres (FSCs)
    FSCs are community-based social services that serve lower-income and/or individuals and families who need social and emotional support. Locate an FSC near you

       
  • Strengthening Families Programme@Family Service Centre (FAM@FSC)
    FAM@FSC supports couples who may face greater challenges in their marriage, and families showing early signs of stress. It offers marriage and divorce support programmes, and a family counselling service.

       
  • Health Hub: Parenting – Teenagers 
    Parenting platform to learn ins and outs of raising a healthy child.  

       
  • Families for Life (FFL)
    Parenting resources on a range of topics including development, digital and media literacy, and bullying.  

       
  • Family Guidance Order (FGO)
    An FGO is issued to a Child or Young Person (CYP) who is below 16 years of age and displays serious behavioural challenges. Parents might apply for the Youth Court’s assistance. Those who wish to apply for an FGO must first arrange for an appointment to undergo a pre-FGO screening with the appointed agencies: Singapore Children's Society or Epworth Community Services.
