Mr Zhulkarnain Abdul Rahim
is Minister of State for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Social and Family Development, and a Member of Parliament for Chua Chu Kang GRC (Keat Hong).

Before entering politics, he was a Senior Partner in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice at Dentons Rodyk & Davidson LLP, specialising in complex litigation and international commercial arbitration, while also undertaking pro bono legal work with the Legal Aid Bureau.

He graduated from the National University of Singapore in 2005 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor in 2006. He holds a Master of Laws from the Singapore Management University (Dean’s List) in 2012.

Mr Zhulkarnain has received several professional accolades, including being named in the Asian Legal Business 40 Under 40 (2016), ALB Southeast Asia Law Awards Young Lawyer of the Year Finalist (2017) and the Junior Chamber International Singapore Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the World Award (Political, Legal and Government Affairs) in 2017.
