24-25 January 2026

Casa Raudha’s Strong Families, Safe Homes Exhibition

Strong Families, Safe Homes was an exhibition organised by Casa Raudha, and supported by MSF, held at Our Tampines Hub on 24 and 25 January 2026. The event engaged almost 2,000 members of the public on spousal and child abuse.

The exhibition featured interactive educational panels and engaging activity booths designed to foster meaningful dialogue on these critical issues. A key highlight was the giant snakes-and-ladders game, which offered an innovative and accessible way for participants to learn about family safety. MSF also introduced 'Break Free' - an educational game aimed to raise awareness of abusive relationships among youth. This digital learning tool represents a fresh approach to reaching youth with important safety messages.

The strong turnout and positive engagement paves the way for continued community dialogue and innovative outreach efforts in preventing family violence prevention.

26-27 November 2025

Republic Polytechnic's Behind Closed Doors

The student-led initiative by Republic Polytechnic (RP)’s School of Hospitality (SOH Club), held on 26–27 November 2025, aimed to raise awareness about relationship and family abuse — issues that are often kept hidden behind closed doors.

Supported by MSF, the students organised a carnival featuring a Wall of Unheard Voices, which showcased anonymous stories of pain and resilience from members of the RP community. The event also included games and activity booths designed to foster empathy and awareness, as well as talks that encouraged meaningful conversations about recognising the signs of abuse and breaking the stigma surrounding it. A total of 1,416 students attended the two-day event.

The initiative ultimately created a safe space for vulnerable individuals to share their stories, while equipping RP’s youth with the knowledge and resources to recognise and address unhealthy relationships.

Approximately 150 participants engaged with our facilitators, playing the plinko board game. The facilitators also provided information about available helplines and support services, while distributing domestic violence awareness brochures, stickers, and photo frames.

The National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) booth was also present to raise awareness about problem gambling. Participants learned when gambling crosses the line into a problem and how they can seek help: NCPG | How to find help for problem gambling?
