- Volunteer with SG Cares Community Network
SG Cares Community Network is an interactive session co-organised by MSF, MCCY, community agencies and volunteers to foster relationships, generate new ideas and explore possible collaborations to strengthen social service delivery together.
You may assist with areas such as event organisation, logistics, design, depending on the needs of the different sessions. More details on opportunity availability will be shared during further clarifications.
Volunteer with Comlink
Community Link (ComLink) is an initiative spearheaded by the Ministry of Social and Family Development to provide proactive, collaborative and community-driven support to empower families (and their children) living in rental housing to improve their circumstances and achieve sustained stability.
You may join different projects available at the ComLink sites, based on the differing requirements of the various sites. More details on project availability will be shared during further clarifications.
KidSTART is a dedicated agency to provide upstream support to children 0 to 6 years old from low-income families to have a good start in life.
You may assist in the following areas:
- Outreach to eligible families
- Befriending KidSTART families (practical and administrative support/child engagement)
- Packing and delivery of essential aid & learning packs to KidSTART families
- KidSTART Group helper (setting up/packing up of playmats and play areas/child engagement)
- Raising funds and awareness for KidSTART
Other ad-hoc roles can include translation, photography and decluttering of homes.
The Partners Engaging and Empowering Rough Sleepers Network (PEERS Network) is a collaboration amongst government agencies and community partners to identify, engage and support rough sleepers and the homeless. We have more than 30 partners in the Network providing a range of services and assistance.
One key service is befriending. The PEERS Network has several befriending groups active in various areas around Singapore. You may join befriender groups on their outreach sessions to engage and befriend rough sleepers and homeless persons.
Passionate about making a difference in people’s lives? Then come join us as a volunteer to mentor and journey with our beneficiaries in need of care and protection or who are under rehabilitation.
You will befriend and support rehabilitation & protection clients including probationers, youth in residential service and/or vulnerable children and young persons.
